As an SU Alumni, I embody the SU graduate attributes which is an enquiring mind , an engaged citizen , a dynamic professional and a well rounded individual. I seek to bring new insight to whatever space I find myself in. This willingness to be in different spaces and work within a team to achieve objectives and produce results is what sets me apart. My exposure in running various social media accounts (I.e. Verified (X) Twitter Account, Instagram ) and creating marketing campaigns have given me valuable insight. I also have exposure in HTML5, CSS, UML , Python, Java and (SQL) SQLite. I am willing to adapt and develop new skills to broaden my career scope.

Creating infographics and designs via Canva , ensuring the SRCs brand is maintained to increase visibility. Liaising with various portfolios within the SRC such as Society’s Council, Academic Affairs Council (AAC) , Tygerberg Student Representative Council (TSRC) ,Transformation, KuKo (Culture Committee) , Social Impact etc. on their social media presence and the marketing of their events Wrote copy for various social media posts and statements. Liaising with the Branding manager to create a cohesive image for the SRC. Managed and mentored a sub-committee with a total of 11 sub-committee members, who I further equipped through training , to create infographics, graphics and videos via Canva. Purchasing and administration of a cost center which helped to ensure the running of my portfolio. Creation and maintenance of the SRC's central link tree in order for there to be a central point for all university related opportunities. Communicating with Student Governance via MS Outlook (email) and MS Teams about the coordination of events. Creating reports to document my termly experience in relation to the events that I was a part of and my associations with my colleagues. The managing of a verified Twitter (X) page ( @StelliesSRC) and an Instagram page ( @stellenbosch_src) during crises (e.g. Racism protests) and everyday student life. Crisis management in the form of statements which are posted to the social media pages. The coordination of posts and stories between these two platforms via Hootsuite in the form of videos , posters , pictures and (Instagram) guides. Taking photos and videos at SRC events to ensure that they are documented.

As a Learner Support Officer, I play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting our learners throughout their educational journey. I am responsible for ensuring that our learners receive the necessary academic and emotional support to thrive in their studies and future careers. Learner Support: Provide one-on-one and group support sessions to address academic and personal challenges faced by learners. Program Facilitation: Assist in the delivery and coordination of educational programs, workshops, and activities. Progress Monitoring: Track and report on learner progress, providing feedback and implementing improvement strategies. Resource Development: Develop and distribute learning materials and resources to enhance learner engagement and understanding. Mentorship: Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, mentoring learners to build confidence and resilience.
