Work & Experience
My duties included taking and drafting of meeting minutes. Managing and maintain documents in our electronic filing systems. I would also provide general administrative assistance for the society and executive committee.
In 2022 I did vocational work for a law firm based in Pretoria for 3 weeks during the June-July winter recess. My duties included the drafting of pleadings, contracts and wills for the firm. I would also research regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist my principal with the preparation of reports, case files and also consult and offer legal advice to clients. During my vocational work I also visited lower and higher courts to issue documents and to shadow my principles in matters they would have to litigate.
