LLB Graduate Class of 2023 from the University of the Free State. Graduation ceremony to be held in 2024 and Completion letters to follow. With a strong work ethic and a passion for professional growth, I have developed a diverse skill set through volunteer work at an NGO (orphanage) and job shadowing, student advisor at the University of the Free State Law Clinic and Bowmans virtual experience programme. These experiences have allowed me to better my analytical and writing skills, develop valuable interpersonal skills, and gain hands-on experience in client communication, legal research, and writing and courtroom advocacy. With the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment, I am confident in my ability to make a positive contribution to any company or legal organisation.

Work & Experience
• Court attendance at the High Court. • Drafting legal documents (summons, contracts, plea, counterclaim, letters, divorce settlement agreement). • Interactions with clients (setting up meeting with clients). • Attending and submitting original documents to Sheriff offices.
• Completed a commercial law job simulation for Bowmans which involved advising various hypothetical clients on complex commercial law topics. • Researched and drafted memos regarding a client exchanging assets for a loan and determined any risks or concerns related to the transfer of these assets. • Practised initiating a claim for a client, including preparing summons and determining jurisdiction. • Analysed a potential acquisition to determine legality and its effect on the market and provided advice to the client on potential negative public interest concerns.
