About Candidate
Hi there! I’m a LLB grad from the University of South Africa, gearing up to dive headfirst into practicing law as a Candidate Attorney. The idea of rolling up my sleeves, tackling real cases, and contributing to the legal system genuinely excites me.
I’ve always had a knack for public speaking (thanks to competitive debating in high school), so whether it’s presenting a case or making a solid argument, I’m in my element. Communication is my superpower—whether it’s breaking down legal jargon or delivering a killer closing argument.
Speaking of communication, I’ve also taught English to adults and kids from all over the world, turning difficult concepts into “aha!” moments. It’s taught me patience, creativity, and that even legal contracts could probably use a little more personality.

Education
I earned my LLB degree (cum laude) with 26 distinctions through UNISA, an online distance learning university, and the experience was nothing short of a masterclass in self-discipline and perseverance. Tackling the unique challenges of remote education, I took ownership of my learning, diving into complex legal concepts and proving my ability to excel independently. I maintained an A aggregate throughout my studies—a testament to my dedication, sharp analytical skills, and love for all things law. Along the way, I developed solid time management, legal research, and critical thinking abilities—skills that are essential in the legal world (and life in general). Studying through UNISA didn’t just teach me about law; it taught me resilience, resourcefulness, and how to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. I’m ready to bring that same energy and focus to any role that values problem-solving, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
During my high school years, I immersed myself in various enriching experiences that shaped my communication skills and fostered my love for language. As a brief participant in the Phoenix Debating League, I was honored to earn my Phoenix debating colours, a testament to my dedication and performance. Additionally, I took part in a spelling bee and an English competition, both of which challenged me and honed my linguistic abilities. One of my proudest moments was winning a public speaking pitch for the Cell C Take a Girl Child to Work Day, an achievement that not only boosted my confidence but also solidified my passion for public speaking. Beyond these structured activities, I was, and still am, an avid reader. My high school years were pivotal in developing this passion, as I delved into various genres and authors, broadening my perspectives and deepening my understanding of the world.
